A new postdoctoral fellow will join Cities Centre for a period of one year in September 2010, thanks to a scholarship from the Canadian Bureau for International Education. A sociologist at the Polytechnic of Milan, one of Dr. Roberta Cucca’s areas of research is a comparative overview of global competitiveness and social inequalities between Europe and Canada. While at Cities Centre, she will undertake a project entitled Contemporary cities between global competitiveness and social inequalities: a comparative overview between Europe and Canada.
