(1) Governing Council Agenda for Information


The next meeting of the Governing Council is scheduled for Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 4:30 pm in the Council Chamber, 2nd floor, Simcoe Hall, 27 King's College Circle.

(2) Seating for Governing Council Meeting

If you wish to reserve a seat for the upcoming meeting, please contact Ms Kata Skoko by telephone: 416-978-6576 or by email to governing.council@utoronto.ca.

Note re seating: of the 66 seats available for non-members, 30 seats may be reserved in advance of

If you wish to reserve a seat for the upcoming meeting, please contact Ms Kata Skoko by telephone: 416-978-6576 or by email to governing.council@utoronto.ca.

Note re seating: of the 66 seats available for non-members, 30 seats may be reserved in advance of meetings upon request for

(a) staff identified as necessary for the transaction of business,

(b) for representative university-wide campus groups (maximum two advance reserved seats per campus
group) including UTFA, USWA, SAC, APUS, GSU, and SCSU

(c) for Members of the University of Toronto Alumni Association, and

(d) for campus and other media representatives.

Space permitting, these seats can be reserved until 10:00 a.m. on the day of the meeting.

Reservations for the remaining non-member seats will be available to current members of the University by e-mail request made to the Governing Council Office (governing.council@utoronto.ca) on a first-come first served basis. One reservation per individual member of the University may be made. Admission tickets for any remaining seats will be provided to individuals wishing to attend the meeting, beginning fifteen minutes before the start time for the Council meeting at the entrance to Simcoe Hall.

(3) Live Audio Broadcast of Governing Council Meeting

A live audio broadcast of the open session portion of the Governing Council meeting can be accessed on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at the following URL:
