Re: Pension Town Halls
There have been a number of articles in the media about Defined Benefit Pension Plans and Retirement Planning over the past couple of months. As a result, our offices have received a number of questions about the University Pension Plan.
Please join us at a Town Hall meeting at which the University’s actuary and our pension consultants will provide information on the U of T plan, specifically how benefits are determined, how the plan is funded, the implications of the current deficit and the proposed new model of governance.
There will be five Town Halls (listed below). Please RSVP to vp.hr@utoronto.ca to let us know which Town Hall you would like to attend.
