We are writing to inform you about three current calls for proposals at MITACS:
1. For Postdoctoral Fellows (MITACS Elevate):
MITACS Elevate provides fellowships for PDFs to work collaboratively with an industrial partner (valued at $65,000) or to work at initiating an industrial collaboration (valued at $55,000). (click here for more information)
Deadline: November 1st, 2010
2. For Masters and PhD students (MITACS Accelerate):
This call for proposals is for Masters and PhD students through the MITACS Accelerate program. This opportunity offers graduate students enrolled at a Canadian university a 4 month industrial research-based internship valued at $15,000. An industry partner contribution of $7,500 is required and financial assistance through IRAP is available to a limited number of small and medium size enterprises (SMEs). 3. For Networking and Training Events support (MITACS NTT):
MITACS has funding available to support both networking and technical training events in all academic disciplines. (click here for more information)
Deadline: January 4th, 2011
