The joint NSERC-JSPS Postdoctoral and Invitation Fellowship Programs provide postdoctoral researchers and university professors or senior scientists with the opportunity to conduct research in the natural sciences or engineering in a university, national laboratory or institute in Japan. The application deadlines for these programs are January 15th, 2011 (Invitation) and January 25th, 2011 (Postdoctoral).

We would appreciate if you could circulate the attached notices widely to let natural sciences and engineering researchers know about this unique opportunity. Thank you for your assistance.

Les Programmes de bourses Invitation et bourses postdoctorales de la SJPS et du CRSNG permettent aux chercheurs postdoctoraux et aux professeurs d'université ou scientifiques chevronnés de participer à des activités de recherche conjointes dans les sciences naturelles et le génie avec des chercheurs dans une université, un laboratoire national ou un institut du Japon. Les dates limites de présentation des demandes sont le 15 janvier 2010 (bourses invitation) et le 25 janvier 2011 (bourses postdoctorales).

Nous vous prions de bien vouloir diffuser les documents ci-joints à autant de personnes que possible, afin de faire connaître ces programmes uniques aux chercheurs des sciences naturelles et génie. Nous vous remercions de votre appui.
