A Message from Dean Cristina Amon
The Engineering researchers who work, study and innovate at U of T share a common focus: unearthing new opportunities for solving the world's most pressing problems. Our reputation helps us to attract exceptional scholars and academically strong students. Recently, we welcomed four new faculty members to our community, and we celebrate seven faculty and lecturers whose remarkable efforts and contributions earned them promotions.
The Faculty's outstanding researchers are also our best educators. Every day, we impart our knowledge and enhance student learning by sharing leading-edge discoveries and innovations. And we influence research even farther afield. Collaborations across the University, with industry, government and in our professional and community organizations locally and internationally broadens – and deepens – our reach and impact.
Through our collective research endeavours, we strengthen engineering knowledge, support our local and national research agendas and inspire innovation in our future engineers.
