Dear Chairs and Directors,
Please find attached the call for nominations for the McCharles Prize for Early Career Research Distinction.
This prize, consisting of a commemorative medal and a $25,000 award, recognizes exceptional performance and
distinction in early career research, typically on the part of a pre-tenure member of the Faculty of Applied
Science and Engineering.
Please note that departments may nominate only one candidate in any given competition. The deadline for
nominations is Friday March 5, 2010.
