Healthy Workplace Month at the University of Toronto, October 2010

Join us for a full line-up of programming to celebrate Healthy Workplace Month at the University of Toronto. We are offering more than 20 events during the month of October including fitness and nutrition, mental health, energy at work, personal mastery, eldercare, and money management. All staff and are invited to attend the sessions.

Highlights include:

• Living by CHOICE! Attend the inspirational keynote address on October 4th by Michelle McIntosh, who is a well known and accomplished conference speaker. Michelle will show you how living with more intentional choices will lead to greater happiness and satisfaction overall.

• Enjoy the autumn! Join us for the Power Walking Clinic on October 15, featuring Lee Scott, owner of “WOWPowerwalking.com” and the former marathon walking coach for Prevention magazine. Learn the secrets to an intense walking workout that gets the heart pumping but minimizes risk for injury compared to high impact activities.

• Boundless Energy: Peak Performance for the Busy Professional! Come to the closing keynote with Dr. Uche Odiau on October 29 who will show you how to boost your energy and age proof your brain. Dr. Odiatu, an international lecturer and fitness advocate, will share compelling evidence and realistic strategies for improving your fitness regardless of your current level.
