Faculty Day 2011: Reconnecting


On Friday, February 25 all employee groups within the Faculty were invited to meet and renew relationships with each other. The day strived to broaden our knowledge of the Faculty and the University.

Sessions included panels by Chairs and Directors. Prof. Jean Zu joined the panel discussing the priorities and challenges for Engineering, and Prof. Ridha Ben Mrad highlighted hot topics in engineering research.

National Engineering Month (NEM) » Design the Future



National Engineering Month (NEM) is a Canada-wide, month-long celebration designed to raise the awareness of engineering and engineering technology and their contributions to our daily lives. It also encourages young people to consider careers in the engineering field.

Each province and territory selects a suitable week, and Ontario will be celebrating engineering primarily from February 26 through March 6. More than 100 volunteer-staged events will take place throughout the province offering a great opportunity to have fun, whether you decide to volunteer or simply attend an event with your family.
